Seamless Flooring FAQ's
How long will it take to install?
We install most 2 and 3 car garages in just 1 day! (8-12 hours) Larger garages could take 2 days to complete.
When can I park my car in my garage?
As few as 24 hours (weather depending). We recommend you leave the floor the day after install, and park your car back the day after.
What about oil & gas?
Oil and gas will wipe off with a dry rag. Oil and gas will not penetrate our top coat!
Your quote was a little more expensive than a company that quoted me for epoxy, why is that?
First of all we use a superior 3 coat polyaspartic coating that is twice as expensive (materials) as an epoxy or hybrid polyurethane system. What makes for a nice floor, like any other trade, is the workmanship. We are among the most experienced polyaspartic installers in Canada and guarantee the highest quality work.
Does it smell, and if so how long will odour last?
Because the product uses solvents, yes it will smell. Solvents are used for two reasons....in our base coat it helps the material sink into the pores of your concrete better than thicker (non solvent) material, and thus creates a superior bond. In the top coat solvents help create a more uniform finish with less streks and blotchiness. How long the odour lasts will depend on how much fresh air you can get on your floor in the first days (first 24-48 hours being the most important). Most of the odour should dissappear within a few days.
